The Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi is targeting an opening in this coming October, 2009, designed by New York-based practice architect Asymptote Architecture. This is really a beautiful iconic building located in the site of Formula 1 on Yas Island, comprised of two towers linked by a bridge spaned over the Formular 1 track. The Yas Hotel features a fluid skin of diamond-shaped glass panels which was influenced and inspired by speed, movement and Islamic artistry. Doooooope.

These will get some run out of my closet for sure.

So spent a few days in NYC last week for an event we got AMP to sponsor. It was a great turn out, pretty much the who’s who of the downtown, streetwear scene in NYC came out and supported the release of  DJ Neil Armstrong’s (Jay-Z’s DJ) latest release; Sweeet pt. 2.
